System Admin
Database backups, cache management, module settings, and system maintenance.
Database Backup
Protect your business data by creating regular database backups.
- Go to Preferences → Backup (may require direct URL if hidden from sidebar).
- Click Generate Backup to create a new database dump.
- Download the backup file and store it securely off-site.
- Delete old backups from the server when no longer needed.

Clear Cache
From Business Settings, administrators can clear application cache when settings changes don't appear or stale data is shown. This refreshes configuration without affecting your data.
Module Settings
Enable, disable, or upload optional add-on modules (e.g. online store). Modules extend Probiz365 with additional features beyond the core application.
- Go to Module Settings.
- View installed modules and their status.
- Enable or disable modules as needed.
- Upload new module packages if provided by Probiz365.
Application Updates
Check the current application version and view update instructions. Major updates may require server-side steps — contact Probiz365 support for assisted updates.
Multi-Business Management
Administrators managing multiple businesses can switch between them at Business selection screen (after login, if you belong to multiple businesses). Each business has isolated data, users, roles, and subscriptions.
Security Best Practices
- Use strong passwords and change default credentials immediately
- Assign minimum required permissions to each role
- Deactivate users who leave the organization
- Keep regular database backups
- Configure HTTPS on your production server
- Review user activity via the Users Report periodically
