Products

Manage your product catalog, categories, brands, units, barcodes, and stock counts.

Catalog vs stockAdding a product here creates the catalog entry only (0 quantity). To stock products for sale, follow the Setup Product Inventory how-to flow (includes creating a Purchase).

Adding a Product

Where: Sidebar → ProductsAdd Product
Permission required: products_add

Required fields:

Optional: Brand, Stock Alert, Order Tax, Tax Method, Note, multiple images, product variants.

  1. Fill in product details on the Add Product form.
  2. Set initial stock per warehouse if applicable.
  3. Add variants (size, color, etc.) if the product has multiple SKUs.
  4. Upload product images.
  5. Click Submit to save.

Product List

Where: Sidebar → ProductsProduct List

Categories, Brands & Units

Set up categories, brands, and units of measure before adding products. Units support base units and sub-units (e.g. Box → Piece).

Print Barcode / Labels

Where: Sidebar → ProductsPrint Barcode
  1. Select products to print labels for.
  2. Choose label format and quantity per product.
  3. Print or download barcode labels.

Stock Count

Where: Sidebar → ProductsCount Stock

Perform physical inventory counts. Enter counted quantities and submit to update system stock levels.

Permission required: count_stock

Import Products (CSV)

  1. From the product list, click Import.
  2. Download the sample CSV template from Sidebar → ProductsProduct List → Import (sample template).
  3. Fill in product data following the template columns.
  4. Upload the CSV file and confirm import.
